company Explores Academic and Industrial Collaboration in Moldova
As part of its international development strategy, Technofest Belgium conducted an official visit to Moldova State University in Chișinău, aiming to establish academic cooperation and expand the market presence of its advanced technological products in the Republic of Moldova.
During this visit, constructive meetings were held with university officials and academic experts to explore opportunities for scientific collaboration, joint research projects, and technology transfer, particularly in the field of advanced plasma technologies.
In parallel with the academic program, the Technofest Belgium delegation visited several leading poultry farms in Moldova to assess real-world industrial applications of plasma technology. These visits focused on the potential installation of plasma-based disinfection systems in poultry houses to significantly reduce microbial load, improve biosecurity, and enhance overall farm hygiene.
A key objective of the initiative is to help prevent mass culling in poultry farms caused by outbreaks of avian influenza, by implementing non-chemical, environmentally friendly plasma disinfection solutions that support animal health and food security.
This strategic visit marks an important step toward strengthening Technofest Belgium’s international partnerships, supporting sustainable agricultural practices, and introducing innovative plasma technologies to the Moldovan market.
